For the Malta Book Festival 2023, The Malta Community of Illustrators was commissioned to create an illustrated mural on the theme of 'Social Commentary'. This mural was a collaborative effort that involved MCOI members: Lisa Hirth, Nadine Bugeja, Kristina Zammit Endrich and Olha Pankiv under the artistic supervision of Matthew Demarco assisted by MCOI board members Moira Scicluna Zahra and Ruth Ancilleri. The Malta Community of Illustrators aims to continue exploring and expanding our engagement with public art, armed with the valuable experience gained from this project.
