Summer in Broadway, Qawra

This illustration was inspired from a collection of objects which were to be found in my grandparents' summer residence in Qawra during my childhood. During the warm summer days we used to spend our mornings swimming at Fra Ben and playing tombla in the afternoon. These objects remind me of the many conversations I've had with my nannu who has passed away recently.
