Mandy Galea

Mandy is a Maltese artist based in Malta who is currently working towards a degree in Animation and Digital Arts. Mandy typically works in acrylic, oil paint and ink when drawing traditionally. She also does digital illustration where she goes for a minimalist line work to create illusionistic illustrations using solely block colours, or by applying quick, expressive brush strokes. Her client portfolio includes a childcare centre for whom she painted murals, created video edits and redesigned a logo on Illustrator. Currently she is working on developing both 2D and 3D animations, using After Effects and Blender to create a variety of commercial, artistic and activist work.
